William B. Parnell


Bill Parnell graduated from Boston University in 1971 and from the New England School of Law in 1976. He was admitted to practice in Massachusetts in 1977 and in New Hampshire in 1978. Before starting his own practice in 1979 in Derry, NH, Bill worked as an adjuster for a major insurance carrier. Presently he is admitted to both the New Hampshire and Massachusetts bars and the United States District Courts in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Bill opened his first office in 1979 in Derry, NH, and concentrated principally in injury law and general litigation. He has remained in the Derry/Londonderry area since that time. Since opening his first office, Bill has maintained his interest in injury law and general litigation. He has expanded his practice to include criminal law, motor vehicle violations including DWI, and family law. His practice also includes lawyer discipline matters.

In addition to maintaining his practice, Bill Parnell has been active in both community service and lawyers' leadership roles. During the 1980's he served as an elected Commissioner of the East Derry Fire Commission, was a member of the Board of Governors of the New Hampshire Trial Lawyer's Association and served on a blue ribbon panel dealing with tort reform. In the 1990's and into the millennium he has continued his work with the community. He coached youth sports including soccer, football, and basketball. He has also served on the Board of many youth athletic organizations. In his community, Bill was elected to the Board of the Derry Main Street Corporation in 1998 and served as its President from 2000 to 2004. Bill Parnell is the current President of the Derry/Londonderry Chamber of Commerce and is an active member in the Lincoln/North Woodstock Rotary Club.
